This resort was very peaceful, always quiet. We stayed in a two bedroom dedicated suite with a view of the LBV golf course. It was huge! 1333 sq.ft. Housekeeping kept us stocked everyday with laundry detergent, dish soap, coffee, everything you could possibly need in there. I knew we were getting a washer and dryer, but if I knew that I would get two new boxes of laundry detergent everyday I would have packed a lot less! There are only two restaraunts, one sit-down and one counter-service, so it gets a little boring. Definitely more serene than most of the other Disney properties we've stayed at. Nice for relaxing after the parks.

We traded our timeshare from Vegas to stay here and would do it again in a NEW YORK MINUTE! We stayed here with our two grandchildren had a one bedroom villa with laundry facility in the room and full kitchen. The staff as usual with disney properties was fantastic, swimming pools were open late and the transportation was GREAT. We used the bus to go to the parks and the ferry to go to downtown. We definately plan to return!

Stayed in a studio unit - not miuch more then a motel room. The beds squeaked terrribly. The unit had a tiny tv, a small under the counter refrigerator, microwave and small sink. The batrhroom was sufficient. There was a small balcony but it overlooked a few trees and a busy road. We didn't have problems with noise. The pool was okay. Laundry facilities were out by the pool and took a long time to dry clothes/towels. No maid service during stay so we washed our bath towels mid-week. The location was wonderful - close to all of the DIsney resorts and Downtown Disney. We didn't feel the property was worth the money. Would prefer to stay off Disney property & get larger accomodations that are almost like new at a much better value.

We are DVC members and we use Disney facilities at least 2x's a year. We have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and at the Hilton Head location twice. Both visits to Hilton Head were nice, although the first trip/stay was better than the second. That said, we expect a lot from Disney when it comes to quality. This hotel lacks quality. The bedding is gross! Our blankets had holes in it and the beds were lumpy. Because we are on a point system we are not totally sure how much the room we stayed in would cost per night, but we figured through sites like Travel online it would have cost around $250+ a night (depending on when you stay) and the room was not worth more than $150 a night. My husband and I both understand that this is an older facility and it does offer a lovely golf course and the pools are okay. That said, it is time to renovate! Not just paint, but renovate! The bath room vent made a horrible noise, the shower curtain was all over the floor, the air conditioning was loud and obnoxious and while the room was a nice size, the layout was horrible. If we had paid, out of pocket, to stay at this resort, I would have demanded a refund or to be moved to another hotel. Overall, I would say that this hotel lacks what Disney is known for: quality.

We stayed in a studio suite with 2 people and it was plenty big, and was very comfortable. The concierge was so helpful and anwered all our questions. The Olivia's restaurant was a bit overpriced, but really good food (everythign at Disney is overpriced). We would stay here again in a second--the buses and magical express services were so nice and on time!
