Stayed with three kids, 5, 3 and 1. Pool was not great for the little ones at all! Royal Pacific had a zero degree pool and sprayground which let the kids play and we could relax. * plus juice box for almost $* brought it to almost $*. Room service pizza was ok. I don't know, maybe we're not the BBQ camping type but all the woodsy decor, brown and tan color everywhere started to depress me. Just didn't have that "magical" feeling! Oh, and when the kids would move the curtains the room would fill with dust! They should go check out the coffee maker in the Royal Pacific. They had a Keurig with Emeril's coffee in the room. And it wasn't all covered in dust!

I've always tried to stay on the Disney grounds to take advantage of their transportation. Previously, we've stayed at the Polynesian and the Contemporary. After our most recent stay at the Wilderness Lodge (not campgrounds) we just fell in love with the place. There's a beautiful pool with a cabana where you can buy refreshments along with a sand beach to sun tan. It's has beautiful grounds and the hotel itself was terrific. It doesn't have a monorail stop, but one is only 10 minutes away via the water taxi to the Contemporary. No Disney hotel is cheap, but we got a reasonable price on Travel online. If you plan to stay on the grounds, this is the one we're staying at from now on. I didn't rate the dining or activities. I find all Disney dining overpriced and hard to get a table if you don't buy a meal plan. We snacked in the parks during the day and ate outside the grounds for dinner. Our kids are too old for activities (but still like to come with Mom and Dad to Disneyworld).

Loved the hotel. Not one complaint actually. The Magical Express service from the airport, and check in were efficient, everyone very friendly. The room was clean, housekeeping services were excellent. Room has fridge which is convenient. The small quick service food area was really convenient as well. Get travel mugs for a small fee at the beginning of stay, and free beverages/refills the entire stay. Pool area and beach were really nice. Pool has lifejackets for little ones to wear for no cost. Boat service to Magic Kingdom and bus service to Animal Kingdom were great. Workout room was nice, clean, not busy. Got a massage at the spa there, which was also excellent. Whispering Canyon Cafe was a great place for little ones, to keep them occupied during dinner (and food was really good)

Hotel. very nice. Truly deluxe resort. Transpo around Disney parts was great, timely and pleasent. Very clean rooms and excellent room service, even the most basic rooms. LCD monitor, everything worked great. Beds very comfortable and bedding is luxury (*TC+). Activities, there are plenty but lookout for lines when it gets busy. Dining is crap. The deli place and the other $$ restaurant serves junk food that easily makes you feel bad in a day or two. The other restaurant is $$$$. I guess Disney vacation in general are not meant for quality and fine cuisine, the entire resort is made of junk food. Pool is good, did get dirty a bit during week-ends and crowded during the afternoons while the hotel was not really full. Jacuzzi, forget that (no space), except early in the morning or at night. Overall, my family enjoyed the stay and i recommend the hotel to everyone.
